On the 20th of March 2023, the launch conference of key projects in the first quarter of Liaoning Province and the groundbreaking ceremony of EVE Energy Storage and Power Battery Project were held in Shenyang. Secretary of Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, Hao Peng, Deputy Secretary of Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Liaoning Province and other provincial and municipal leaders Li Lecheng, Chairman of EVE Energy Dr. Liu Jincheng, Co-founder and President of EVE Energy Liu Jianhua, Vice President of EVE Energy Li Mufen and other company executives, as well as business representatives and media representatives witnessed the ceremony.
President of EVE Energy Liu Jianhua, spoke at the launch conference as a representative of the company, saying that the current competition in the new energy track is fierce, and the survival and development of the company cannot be achieved without the support of the government. Shenyang, Liaoning Province, is an important industrial base in China. EVE Energy is very honored to join. In the future, EVE Energy Shenyang production base will serve the northeast region and radiate the northeast Asian market, help Shenyang to build a new energy industry chain and open up the ground for the establishment of a global service system.
Governor Li Lecheng congratulated the centralized construction of the project and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the investors, project leaders and builders who supported the revitalization and development of Liaoning. He emphasized that each project should carry the concept of efficiency throughout the project construction, seize the golden construction period, and strive for early completion, early production and early effect.
Secretary Hao Peng announced the focus on the opening of key projects and pressed the starting button together with provincial and municipal leaders.
Afterwards, Dr. Liu Jincheng delivered a speech at the EVE energy storage and power battery project groundbreaking ceremony, saying that the new energy industry is developing rapidly, and there are many world-class representative enterprises rooted in Shenyang, which provides fertile ground for the development of industry chain enterprises. EVE will build a new energy battery R&D and manufacturing base in Shenyang for the Northeast and Northeast Asian markets, and strive forward in the new energy battery green track.
Dr. Dai Hexuan, President and CEO of BMW Brilliance Automotive, mentioned in his speech the groundbreaking today is also another clear sign that Shenyang is on
the path to becoming a leading NEV manufacturing hub in China.The partnership between BMW and EVE was formed in China, and is built on a shared vision of shaping a
sustainable future through innovation and advanced technology. EVE Energy is now a global battery cell supplier to the BMW Group. All these initiatives further strengthen the cooperation and help to achieve mutual benefits.
Wang Xinwei, Secretary of Shenyang Municipal Committee, expressed his hope that EVE Energy will organize a strong project construction force, run with full power, complete the project as early as possible, drive upstream and downstream partners to invest in Shenyang, take root in Shenyang, and realize a win-win situation in the whole industry chain layout and cluster development.
At the end, Dr. Liu Jincheng laid the foundation for the project together with Secretary Hao Peng, Governor Li Lecheng, Dr. Dai Hexuan and other leading guests.
