On the 7th of February, the signing ceremony of the "EVE Energy Power Storage Battery Production Base Project" was held in Chengdu. Deputy Secretary of the Committee and Mayor of Chengdu Wang Fengchao, Member of the Standing Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Chengdu Liu Xiaoliu, and other leaders of relevant urban units, Chairman of EVE Energy Dr. Liu Jincheng, Executive Vice President of EVE Power Zhou Hongyan, and other executives of the company attended and witnessed the ceremony.
Dr. Liu Jincheng mentioned in his speech that 2022 is the "year of formation" and 2023 is defined as the "year of refinement" for EVE Energy, which will rely on the existing R&D and production capacity to achieve a higher level of management and quality. Energy's Jianyang production base covers the R&D and production of new energy vehicles, power tools, communication energy storage and other fields, and the products serve first-class enterprises at home and aboard.
At the ceremony, Zhou Hongyan, Executive Vice President of EVE Power signed the project-related agreements with Jianyang Municipal People's Government.
As an important region in EVE Energy's strategic layout, EVE Energy's cooperation with Chengdu continues to develop in-depth: in October 2021, EVE Energy signed the "EVE Energy 50GWh Power Storage Battery Project Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement" with the Chengdu Management Committee; in July 2022, the construction of EVE Energy Chengdu Power Storage Battery Phase I Project was launched. This project is to be located in Jianyang City Kongtian Industrial Function Zone, with an investment of about 10 billion RMB, to build a 20GWh power storage battery production base.
In the future, EVE Energy will fully utilize its comprehensive advantages, deepen the cooperation between the two sides, and work together for the high-quality development of the new energy industry.
