Recently, the 2022 OFweek Lithium Battery (Power & Consumer) Industry Conference and OFweek Cup Annual Award Ceremony were held in Shenzhen. EVE Energy was awarded "OFweek 2021 Power Battery Excellence Brand". Dr. Liping Wan, Director of EVE Power Battery Management Institute, was invited to attend the special session on power batteries and delivered a speech on "BMS Comprehensive Layout, Boosting 100 billion Platform".
The conference gathered more than 500 senior executives from the battery, materials, equipment and other lithium industry chain enterprises. The seminar focused on the innovation direction of power batteries under the background of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals" and the huge changes in lithium raw materials.
Dr. Liping Wan introduced that BMS (Battery Management System) is the core technology of lithium-ion battery application and plays a significant role in the battery system. BMS has gone through three stages of development: Battery Monitor System, Battery Management System, and Battery Manipulate System, and now, EVE has entered the development and application stage of the battery operating system. The product not only has the basic functions of the first two stages but also considers the functions of energy distributions, operation distribution and value-added services, which can be applied to large-scale and super large-scale battery systems.
With a global BMS R&D team of more than 200 people, EVE relies on the processing system of ASPICE, functional safety and information security to construct a core R&D capability that integrates development capability, product experience and application experience.
At present, the R&D team has developed xHEV products such as 12V, 48V, 400V and BMS products and services for the EBS1500 platform, which are widely used in passenger cars, commercial vehicles, energy storage and electric boats, etc., and obtained ISO270001, ISO26262 and other related certifications.
In the future, EVE will keep adhering to the principle of technology-driven development, paying close attention to the industry's cutting-edge developments, actively researching and exploring the market demand for various applications of battery management, promoting battery technology progress, and contributing to the industry's green development and the realization of the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals".
